The SLAC association is a club for practicing Roller Street (no lesson), in the scope of spare-time activities, in a spirit of mutual aid and conviviality. All levels of practice are present. There is always someone to help you improve your Roller practice : you do not get stuck at your current level. Children are welcome from 12 years old, under the responsability of their parents who must be present to monitor them and take care of them. Wearing protections is highly recommended, and mandatory for children :

• helmet,
• wrist-shields,
• elbow-shields,
• knee-shields,
• shinbone-shields for street units.

You must buy your own pair of Rollers, and your protections : the association does not lend anything. Go see Décathlon, Go Sport, ... or online shops on the Internet : HawaiiSurf, Nomades, PierreQuiRoule, ...

The enrolment for year 2010-2011 costs 45 euros. It is the unique price : subscribe as soon as september to maximise your fun during the season ! You must pay this fee, it is ESSENTIAL and MANDATORY after a period of one or two trial sessions. This fee is for accessing the SkatePark at time slots especially booked for the association, parties and barbecues, and for the annual contest (friendly competition), except if unexpected event. Scheduled sessions at the SkatePark for year 2010-2011 are :

• on tuesday from 18:30 to 22:00,
• on thursday from 18:30 to 20:00.

The fee for enrolment is employed to balance the budget : to pay the insurance of the association as a tenant of the SkatePark, to pay expenses for parties and barbecues, and for routine expenses (secretaryship, bookkeeping, ...).

The association is insured for the use of the SkatePark, and the practice of its members. But the annual fee does not pay for your personal insurance, which is necessary for practicing out of the association, or outside of the SkatePark. Each member must be personally insured for the following guarantees :

• 'civil liability',
• 'physical injury'.

Check from your insurer that your insurance covers sport practice as a spare-time activity, and especially Roller practice. It is important : you practice at your own risks.

Roller sessions occure during the week at the SkatePark of Poitiers : 39 bis, route de la Cassette.

At the SkatePark you can practice even during winter, or when the weather is bad, with a perfect flooring, and great modules (street modules, ramps, tables).

There is no locker room : you must come uniformed (jeans and t-shirt). There is no heating system : you must wear something warm during winter. There is WC and running water.

To subscribe, come to the SkatePark at the beginning of september. Ask for a subscription form, or download and print it (pdf document at the link above). Come to the SkatePark with your form, and your subscription fee, at a later occasion when you come for riding.
